CCO & Cornell: Together Again - April 13 - Sage Chapel

The CCO is excited to partner with Cornell on a program that spotlights some of their faculty and students in the beautiful Sage Chapel.  Cornell University Chorus and Glee Club (John Rowehl, director) plus accomplished organist, Annette Richards, will share the stage with us as we present the landmark organ concerto by Poulenc, and Schubert's Mass No. 4 in C Major.

Sounds of Music from Austria - April 28 - Unitarian Church

Austrian FlagEveryone knows about Mozart of course, and he's undoubtedly the most prominent representative of Austria we could include on this program. He'll be joined by Fruhling and Schubert to round out this concert featuring sounds of music from this last stop in our world tour of chamber music. Audience members can enjoy the terrific variety represented here with works for a string duo, a clarinet-piano-cello trio, and a piano quintet.

Motherf**kerThis play was a Broadway sensation last season. It is about addiction and recovery and adultery and, believe it or not, it's a comedy. This one will rock the roof!

By Henrik Ibsen, Adapted by Arthur Miller

Directed by Robert Moss

Hoerner Theatre

Dr. Thomas Stockmann is a whistle-blower in a small, coastal Norwegian town bent on making a profit from the tourists who visit its mineral springs for their health. Dr. Stockmann risks the welfare of his family, his livelihood, and his very life to defend his conviction that the economic engine of his town, the mineral springs, is a source of pollution and disease. Arthur Miller, widely considered a leading playwright of conscience in American theatre, adapted Ibsen's drama..
